How to see your Facebook profile as a friend or a stranger

Facebook is very popular now a day’s especially for the younger generation. People maintain their privacy for sharing posts, photos and even shares. To see your profile how others view can be done in two ways.

  1. View your Facebook profile as public (people out of your friends list).
  2. View your Facebook profile as a specific person (It includes people from your friend list or others).

  1. Go to profile and click on the button beside View Activity Log.
  2. Then select view as from the dropdown menu.

Seeing Facebook profile from a stranger’s perspective

Often other person (who is not in your friend list ofcourse) visits your facebook profile. Of course you would not be so open to strangers. You set your privacy in a way so that a stranger views minimal amount of content from your profile, view your limited activity (even will not be able to see), cannot download your photos to use in their defective intentions. As privacy becomes a foremost phenomenon these days, you will have to test how privileged your account is. To view how a stranger sees your profile follow states provided below.

  1. Go to profile and click on the button beside View Activity Log.
  2. Then select view as from the dropdown menu. It will take you to public view by default.
